Director, Information Systems & Data Operations Salary range: $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Council‑Wide Role: Must be based out of Cincinnati or Dayton. This role is an essential part of the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio data team. The Director, Information Systems & Data Operations will oversee and manage the technology infrastructure, data management operations, assessment & evaluation, and analytics for the organization. Responsibilities include managing the IT service provider, coordinating and supervising service delivery, leading data security efforts, and driving future information systems initiatives, including AI solutions and advanced business analytics tools. Essential Responsibilities Provide overall leadership to the organization’s technology infrastructure, software solutions, data security, reporting, and analytics. Lead the strategic deployment and management of AI technologies that align with the organization’s goals. Manage the organization’s data resources, ensuring quality, security, and compliance. Oversee the organization’s operational transaction systems, ensuring accurate, efficient, and secure processing. Oversee deployment, licensing, and management of software applications across the organization. Supervise a small internal data team responsible for transaction processing, data management, reporting, and analytics. Act as the primary point of contact for the MSP, managing the SLA and ensuring the IT infrastructure is secure, functional, and scalable. Establish data security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable data security standards and nonprofit requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in IT, data management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a people‑leadership/supervisory role. Certification in Data Management or Information Systems is highly preferred (CISSP, CDMP or equivalent). Experience managing a full data and information ecosystem, including technology implementations. Strong proficiency in evaluation and data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Qualtrics or similar). Experience working with an MSP to manage outsourced IT functions. Knowledge of software credentialing and management. Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations or other compliance standards. Ability to complete assignments independently, professionally, and in a timely manner. Ability to work in a team environment with commitment to contributing to organizational goals. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Eligible for teleworking. Travel Primarily within the Council’s geographical footprint (32 counties of western Ohio and southeastern Indiana) during the business day, with some out‑of‑area and overnight travel expected. Compensation & Benefits This full‑time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000-$90,000 annually with a generous benefits package.
