About The Team Gusto Solo is our newest product offering, designed to help solopreneurs seamlessly pay themselves and manage their businesses all in one compliant, easy?to?use intelligent platform. As the Principal Product Manager, youll chart the course for Gusto Solos next phase of growth. Heres What Youll Do Day?to?day Own the vision and strategyset the long?term direction, define problems, build toward durable competitive advantage, and run lean experiments. Collaborate and influence across Engineering, Design, Data Science, Service Delivery, Marketing, Finance, and more to bring the vision to life. Make it happendrive execution, use AI as a co?builder to turn complex problems into durable, customer?loved solutions. Heres What Were Looking For 8+ years of hands?on Product Management experience. Proven track record of building 0?1 products and scaling them into high growth. Entrepreneurial, curious, fluent with AI tools and building AI?first products. Experience with modern AI systemsprompting, fine?tuning, evaluating outputs, shipping reliable experiences. Experience in highly regulated domains (Fintech, Accounting, Taxes, Payroll) with compliance focus. GTM excellencepartnering with Marketing on promise?payoff, pricing/packaging, lifecycle strategies. Exceptional collaboration and storytellingbuild trust, drive alignment, and communicate a compelling vision. Our cash compensation amount for this role is $179,000/yr to $224,000/yr in Denver & most major metro locations, and $210,000/yr to $263,000/yr for San Francisco, Seattle & New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate location, experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above. Where do PMs at Gusto work? We have offices in Denver, San Francisco, and New York and have remote team members across the US and Canada. We are also actively hiring for Toronto, Canada, Los Angeles, CA, and Seattle, WA. Our open roles will specify on the careers page and in the job description where the position is eligible for work. Employees based in Denver, San Francisco, or New York are expected to work from the office 2?3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.
