Job Description

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will support production activities by ordering, storing, tracking, preparing, moving, and finishing materials throughout the facility. You will maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, monitoring inventory levels, and communicating any shortages. Participate in warehouse processes including cycle counts, material identification, and inventory control. You will handle material cutting and transportation of various types of metals, expedite products throughout the production facility using an order picker, forklift, and pallet jack, and transport materials on and offsite safely and timely using company vehicles and equipment. You are responsible for the setup, maintenance, and tear down of work areas, equipment, and materials; keeping the work area neat and tidy. Ensure the on-time completion of tasks, adhere to work instructions, regulations, manuals, and quality procedures, and demonstrate clear communication skills. Prepare, maintain, and submit accurate paperwork as required, and adhere to all applicable environmental, safety, health, and operations procedures and directives.
This is an entry-level position and requires no experience.They will train you to:
  • Material handle
  • Operate a forklift
  • Experience running a 3 Axis Mill
  • Experience running a NC Bandsaw
  • Use shipping & receiving software
Preferred Skills
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Laser mark or anodization
Shift: 4pm-2:30am

Work Environment

The role is based in a machine shop setting where you will work with metals and the environment will often be dirty, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally is required
