OverviewRegional Director of Operations & Strategy – Healthcare Services (Washington, DC Metro Area)We’re seeking a strategic and people-driven leader to take on a high-impact role as Regional Director of Operations & Strategy within a mission-oriented healthcare organization. In this role, you’ll oversee the performance and leadership of approximately 10 care centers across the DC metro area, guiding a team of over 200 professionals. With full responsibility for a $30–$50 million P&L, you’ll drive excellence in operational outcomes and patient experience.This opportunity is ideal for a leader who thrives on complexity, excels at building high-performing teams, and is passionate about delivering results in a multi-site environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support operations across a portfolio of care centersManage, mentor, and develop field-based leaders and site teamsOversee all aspects of financial performance, including full P&L ownershipDrive strategy to enhance growth, efficiency, and service qualityBuild strong cross-functional relationships and foster a culture of accountabilityEnsure alignment with organizational goals and community health impactQualificationsDemonstrated experience overseeing multi-site operationsProven success managing full P&L responsibility in the $30M–$50M rangeTrack record of leading large teams (200+ staff, 10–12 direct reports)Experience coaching and developing field leadershipStrong strategic acumen and hands-on operational managementExcellent communication and relationship-building abilitiesAdditional ExpectationsLocal travel required (~50% in the field, 25% remote, 25% at a central office)Solid understanding of operational KPIs and financial driversThis is a unique opportunity to shape the future of healthcare delivery in your region while growing professionally in a values-driven, performance-focused environment.
