As an Assistant Manager at Filson, you will motivate, inspire, and lead your team in providing the best-in-class customer experience, just as our founder did in 1897. You will work side by side with your Store Manager and your home office partners to set and uphold our standards for the store's day-to-day operations as well as develop our people and our culture. Responsibilities include identifying customer needs and acting as an outfitter, supporting the Store Manager in recruiting and training employees, developing team's selling and merchandising skills, providing feedback and coaching, supporting marketing events, preparing reports, maintaining inventories, ensuring brand standards, providing a safe and clean store environment, enforcing company policies, coaching and resolving conflicts, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications include exceptional selling skills, minimum two years leadership experience, data-driven decision making, people development experience, strong communication skills, computer skills, ability to work weekends and holidays, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Physical requirements include ability to lift 30 pounds, reach overhead, pull items from shelves, bend, kneel, stoop, and stand for long periods. Compensation is hourly starting at $21.85 - $24.45 with potential bonuses and benefits including paid time off, medical, dental, vision, 401k, employee discounts, and more.
