Significance is seeking a Strategic Planner to lead in establishing and administering strategic and operational installation programs, projects, and actions. The Strategic Planner will assist in the development of Marine Corps plans, processes, policies, and procedures related to enterprise-level basing programs and initiatives, including DOTMLPF-C integration, Strategic Basing Program, Joint Basing, BRAC, Force Design, and special project capacity analyses. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for developing Planning Orders (PLANORDs), Operations Orders (OPORDs), and Letters of Instruction (LOIs) to implement installation actions and planning guidance. Additional responsibilities include supporting Marine Corps responses to Congressional and public inquiries regarding basing actions and installation planning and providing conference planning and meeting support for designated government and inter‑agency events. Desired and Required Skills Bachelor’s degree in engineering, community planning, facility management, or a related field. Over ten years of experience as an analyst or program manager at the Service Component Headquarters or DoD level. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Prior experience working with military-based programs. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Prior military experience. Secret Clearance. $110,000 - $120,000 a year At Significance, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location. We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including but not limited to experience; job-related skill sets; relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply.
