STS Staffing is assisting our client in finding a dynamic Fabric Store Sales and Sewing Manager for their high-end retail environment. This role combines leadership in sales management with expertise in sewing, catering to a luxury fabric store's unique needs. The ideal candidate will excel in driving sales, managing a team, and providing exceptional sewing guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Oversee daily store operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and merchandising
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics, implementing strategies to meet and exceed targets
  • Provide expert sewing guidance and support, including machine operation and fabric handling
  • Train and develop staff on advanced sales techniques, sewing skills, and customer service best practices
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency
  • Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing store environment that reflects the luxury nature of the brand
  • Collaborate with management to develop and execute promotional strategies

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales management, particularly in high-end or luxury retail settings
  • Strong understanding of sales metrics and ability to drive performance
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in sewing, including machine operation and fabric care
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed

Additional Information:

  • This is a direct hire opportunity with our client, not a temporary placement.
  • Competitive hourly pay rate of $20-$26, commensurate with experience.
