As a Treasury Sales Group Manager in Middle Market Banking, you will lead and develop Treasury Management Officers. You will play a key part in delivering an exceptional experience for clients while mitigating risk and appropriately guiding the team. You will develop partnerships with Bankers, Client Service, Product Leadership (Core Cash, Card and Commerce Solutions) and Implementation teams. You will use your deep understanding of the treasury and leadership skills to develop and execute a strategy localized to market, growth, and product.

Job responsibilities

  1. Lead, hire, and manage a team of Treasury sales professionals to achieve positive performance results.
  2. Leads with direction and coordination building successful relationships.
  3. Monitors staff performance, provides appropriate coaching, recognition and feedback.
  4. Builds collaborative internal relationships with Regional Treasury Sales Team, bankers and other internal partners.
  5. Participates in partner meetings and communicates key Treasury Management messages in a timely and accurate manner.
  6. Protects the firm by applying sound risk management protocols and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  7. Develop and implement client, market, people, and business strategies.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  1. 7+ years of sales and industry experience.
  2. 3+ years of sales leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to build, direct and manage a sales/relationship management team of parallel size and scope.
  3. Knowledge of treasury products and solutions.
  4. Highly motivated, independent worker within a team-oriented culture and focus on DE&I.
  5. Excellent client management skills.
  6. Ability to communicate and present to large groups.
  7. Demonstrated sales coaching abilities including successful sales and marketing skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  1. Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  2. Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred.
  3. Superior analytical and quantitative skills.
  4. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI) teams provide credit, cash management, capital markets and corporate finance advisory solutions to corporations, municipalities and nonprofits. Core Banking teams generally focus on clients with annual revenues of $20 million to $500 million. The local delivery model, coupled with the firm’s global resources, offers clients customized, comprehensive solutions and personalized service by building long-term relationships.
