Job Overview:

The FMT Business Development Associate (BDA) is responsible for all top-of-funnel activities to identify, contact, and qualify new customer leads to drive growth of our Full-Service Maintenance Team (FMT) business. The BDA position is responsible to secure new business opportunities and contribute to the delivery of monthly and annual sales growth targets. The right candidate will have a competitive drive for results, door-opening interpersonal skills, and a passion for connecting great people with great companies. This position works collaboratively with colleagues in our Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams and reports directly to the Senior Director of Sales.

Essential Functions:

  • Prospecting New Clients: Utilize a combination of networking, direct outreach, and participation in events to identify and engage potential clients, managing a sales pipeline to set-up appointments with qualified leads and ultimately resulting in long-term, profitable relationships.
  • Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate strategic relationships with businesses and organizations that complement Pro Services' FMT offerings to broaden market reach and enhance service offerings.
  • Development of Cold Outreach Tactics: Craft and present compelling, customized communications in order to effectively win the attention and engagement of prospective clients and communicate the value of FMT solutions.
  • Brand Promotion: Represent Pro Services at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and attract new business opportunities.
  • Feedback & Reporting: Collect and analyze feedback from prospective clients as well as market trends overall to refine and adjust business development strategies and tactics. Provide detailed data tracking through company systems and create reports to senior management on activities, outcomes, and market insights.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to identify, engage, and convert prospects into new clients with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Education & Sales Experience: High school diploma or GED with two (2) or more years experience in external sales or business development roles.
  • Ability to Influence: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting sales targets in a dynamic market environment.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting the brand and offering to prospective clients and partners.
  • Drive: Highly motivated, goal-oriented, with a strong work ethic and accountability for results.
  • Multi-Tasking: Organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives and successfully meet deadlines with internal colleagues as well as external clients and partners.
  • Ability to Travel: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with willingness to travel up to 20-40%.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Two (2) or more years experience working in industrial service or manufacturing industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study (e.g. Business, Marketing, Communications, etc.).
  • Technical proficiency with MS Office tools, Google Suite, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software systems
