Summary: Registered Nurse RN Pedi Cardiac ICU CVICU position available at Methodist Children's Hospital, requiring 1-2 years of Pedi Cardiac ICU/CVICU acute hospital nursing experience or Critical Care(ICU) experience.

Our Pediatric Cardiac Care Unit (PCCU) is a specialized unit dedicated to caring for infants and children with congenital heart defects. As a Registered Nurse RN Pedi Cardiac ICU CVICU, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.

Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.

Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism as evidenced by active engagement in unit and organizational activities.

Demonstrate team work, adaptability, and serving as a resource to the patient care team.

Have accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and for promoting a positive image of nursing.

Requirements:

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

Registered Nurse Texas License or Compact State License required.

Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.

1-2 years Pedi Cardiac ICU/CVICU acute hospital nursing experience or Critical Care(ICU) experience.
