OVERVIEWMerrick's Energy, Manufacturing and Bioprocessing business unit is looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented Project Engineer / Senior Engineer with strong leadership skills, the ability to focus multi-discipline teams, and very strong technical and communication skills. Work with a team of talented PMs, engineers, and designers.This position can be located in any of the following offices and will be eligible for a hybrid schedule: Greenwood Village, CO; Tulsa, OK; Chattanooga, TN; Richmond, VA; Newport News,VA; or Baltimore, MD.Annual salary range for this position is $125,400.00 - $162,300.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.WHAT YOU'LL DOThe Project Engineer will work in a dynamic multi-discipline environment, supporting project Oil, Gas, Chemical and Bioprocessing projects. The individual will direct a multi-disciplined team of engineers and designers, and serve as the primary technical interface with clients, project management, and procurement professionals. The Project Engineer serves as a liaison between the Project Manager and technical disciplines and is responsible for:Assisting the Project Manager with managing scope, schedule, and budget.Leading design activities and managing design deliverables.Ensuring client satisfaction and working closely with the client's technical teamCoordinating engineering disciplines and managing discipline interfacesManaging project resources, technical changes and expediting scheduled activitiesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSMinimum twelve (12) years of engineering experience and five (5) years in Project Engineering.Background in Mechanical or Process Engineering and industrial design.Experience with Oil, Gas, Chemical, Power, Industrial Manufacturing, Food & Personal Care and Bioprocessing projects.Experience with codes, industry standards and guidelines (ASME, API, NFPA, & PIP, etc.).Experience with supervising engineers and designers.Experience with Microsoft Office and Scheduling Software (e.g. MS Project, Primavera).Client facilities require site visits to gather project information, which may require climbing ladders and stairs.Client projects for this position require U.S. Citizenship.Degree Requirements: Bachelor of Sciences in Engineering from an A.B.E.T. accredited program.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSProfessional Engineering license.PERKSEmployee Owned - all eligible U.S. employees have an Employee Stock Ownership Account.Robust Employee Referral Program.Annual performance reviews and merit increases.Professional Training and Development.Employee Recognition Awards.Peer Mentor ProgramAnd Much MoreADDITIONAL INFORMATIONApply online only.
