Maintenance Tech - The Springs Resort Operations - Full-Time

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our hotel facilities. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs to keep our hotel running efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify and address maintenance issues

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry

- Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance

- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, lighting, and other hotel equipment

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes

- Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems as needed

Requirements

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical requirements:
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required. Must be able to work weekends & Holidays.
  • Heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Work environment:
  • Indoor and outdoor hotel building, facilities, and structures
  • Occasional to frequent work in hotel rooms, common areas, facilities, that may require ability to work in confined and small area workspaces.
  • Outdoor work requires exposure to weather elements that may be hot, cold, wet and dry conditions.
