One Family.Purpose StatementThis position will work Monday thru Thursday from 7:00 pm - 6:30 am Sanitation Clerk will supervise and coordinate the activities of sanitation associates, ensuring proper sanitation practices.Key Accountabilities and Outcomes The Sanitation Clerk will oversee sanitation associates and will motivate, mentor, and train on sanitation standards and procedures Inspects equipment ensuring regulatory requirements are met and plant equipment is clean and safe for productions Develops SSOPS and establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules Inspects premises for unsanitary practices and conditions and directs cleaning of equipment and work areas Conducts sanitation audits and compiles required reports regarding regular inspections, sanitation violations, and steps taken to resolve deficiencies Be able to use chemicals in a safe manner (follow chemical instructions) Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations Prep all lines for pre-op inspection in a timely manner Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems Maintain knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety policies, FDA regulations, GMPs, HACCP, and sanitation rules and regulations, and company policies Responsible for writing work orders for any equipment needing repair Keeping and maintaining the sanitation training matrix and sanitation verification records Assisting other departments as requested in a safe and timely manner. Work safely at all times and report any unsafe conditions or injuries immediately. All other duties, as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Experience High School Diploma or GED 1-2 years experience in food manufacturing sanitation Demonstrate ability to understand and take directions Effective Communications skills Be able to work alone Be willing to learn new methods and procedures Trunk Strength - The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without 'giving out' or fatiguing.
