As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing the technological and data architecture for an anonymized client in the HR services sector. Leveraging your deep expertise in data architecture, master data management (MDM), datalakehouse concepts, data catalogues, and data modelling, you contribute to a scalable, secure, and future‑proof data strategy. You collaborate closely with technical teams, architects, and product stakeholders to ensure alignment, innovation, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Analyse the current data architecture to identify gaps and enable continuous optimization. Coach, guide, and collaborate with technical experts, data experts, and IT teams to develop a technology and data architecture supporting new business opportunities and operational models. Advise on application and infrastructure projects to harmonize systems and data solutions with the enterprise architecture, determining when adjustments are required to support future needs. Work intensively with product managers, product owners, and other architects (enterprise, business, information, security, solution) to ensure agility, security, and future readiness of infrastructure and data architecture. Monitor applications and data platforms to optimize configurations, ensure data quality, improve user experience, and proactively address security concerns. Design and oversee the architecture of applications and data flows, including user interface, middleware, infrastructure, and integration with central data layers. Technical skills Must have Experience as a Data Architect (Medior level). Strong knowledge of data architecture, MDM, datalakehouse concepts, data catalogues, and data modelling. Solid experience in data governance, data management, and information architecture. Agile mindset and experience working in Agile environments. Native or bilingual proficiency in Dutch. Should have 1 to 3 years of relevant recent experience. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary IT and business teams. Nice to have Knowledge of English. Knowledge of French.
