Your role as a Delivery Driver

As a Delivery Driver at Aaron's in Huntington, WV, you will be at the heart of our operations, handling merchandise with care from loading and securing it in the delivery vehicle to delivering, setting up, and demonstrating products to our customers. Your role goes beyond just delivery - you will troubleshoot any issues and ensure that the products are in perfect working order before leaving the customers' homes. Occasionally, you may need to review lease agreements to ensure all terms are met.

The knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Position routinely requires lifting, loading, and "dollying" 50-300 pounds
  • Neatly groomed appearance
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong technical skills or working knowledge of electronic products
  • Good driving skills
  • Ability to work a schedule of budgeted hours varying from 8am to 9pm
  • Satisfactory MVR (driving record)
  • D.O.T. physical/certification in states that require it, a drug screen, criminal background investigation with job performance reference check, and required testing
  • A valid Driver's License and compliance with the Company's Driver Qualification Policy
