We are committed to make a difference.What we offer:Competitive Starting PayPaid TrainingGlobal Advancement OpportunitiesCompany Vehicle (as applicable)Referral BonusesComprehensive BenefitsMedical/Dental/Vision insuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Life Insurance401(k) savings plan with company matchShort-Term and Long-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramWellness ProgramAnd MoreWhat you will doInspectors are responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Electrical, Sprinkler or Suppression life safety product lines as well as similar competitive manufacturers’ product lines.How you will do itTest and inspect fire alarm systems with existing and new customer base.Maintain proper documentation for work performed using tools providedWork with low voltage wiring and associated devices for the operation of low voltage equipment.Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices such as laptop computers and/or hard copy.Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule.Input, retrieve and archive inspection documents via mobile device.Make minor repairs and programming changes to systems being inspected.Must adhere to company safety policies and proceduresCarry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbsPerform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions; such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipmentMust be able to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer needsMust perform all duties in a safe and professional manner & maintain a clean and safe work areaWhat we look forRequiredInstallation or Service Experience in testing and inspecting Fire Alarm Equipment.Self-starter that can work with little or no supervisionStrong organizational skills, positive attitude, and the ability to learn quicklyCapable of performing physical laborExcellent communication skillsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentValid Driver’s License with good driving recordAbility to work well with othersObtain NICET I within 1 year of employmentBasic computer skills – Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook) along with SmartPhone skillsHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $19-25 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
