Main Responsibilities of SEC Reporting Accountant:
- Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant External Reporting will include the preparation and filing of various SEC reports including earnings releases, proxy statements, and prospectus supplements
- Preparing quarterly packages for Senior Management
- Analyzing and documenting internal controls related to financial reporting
- Assisting with the implementation of new technical accounting policies
- Supporting the identification of opportunities for automation enhancements
- Performing special projects as needed
Qualifications of SEC Reporting Accountant:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting of Finance, CPA, or in the process of becoming a CPA
- At least 2 years of experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements and SEC reporting
- Financial Services Industry experience desired
- Knowledge of MS Access and Excel macro proficiency desired
