We are seeking full-time BE/BC Pediatrics physician to join a dynamic, innovative practice where you'll find the freedom to work independently while getting the support of a large network. Work alongside an expert team of care professionals who genuinely care for one another and share your passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Join our "50th Street Clinic" located across the street from our 250-bed hospital. You'll join one other Pediatrician and Nurse Practitioner. Other providers in the clinic include: 2 Family Medicine, 1 Internal Medicine, 4 Nurse Practitioners, 1 Physician Assistant.
Mercy Clinic Pediatrics Highlights:.
- Flexible schedule, option for 4-day work week, no weekends
- Rounding on babies in the nursery, circumcisions and taking call is required
- Call is 1:5 (share call with 1 Mercy employed pediatrician and 3 other private practice pediatricians)
- Call rotations consist of covering ED, newborn nursery, and pediatric department.
- Mercy Hospital Joplin has a level III NICU with 12 rooms.
- Must be willing to collaborate with NP's and PA's
- A large, established multi-specialty network
- System Wide EPIC EHR
- DAX (Dragon Ambient Experience) available and cost provided by Mercy
- New grads are encouraged to apply
