Job Duties:

* Verify identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms or records.
* Present medication to resident and observe ingestion or other application or administer medication.
* Take vital signs or observe resident to detect response to specified types of medications and prepare report or notify designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
* Document any reasons prescribed drugs are not administered and report to charge nurse.
* Give direct resident care, such as assisting with bathing, dressing, and assisting in examinations and treatments.
* Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.

Education and Experience:

* Must be at least 18 years old.
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Completion of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) training program, with subsequent passing grade on skills testing and manual testing to qualify for certification.
* CPR preferred, not required.
* Certified through State of South Dakota for Nurse Assistant and complete U.A.P. training.

Work Schedule

* Every other weekend; 16 hours every 2 weeks
* 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm



Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

* $19.00 - $25.25 per hour
