As a contracted Ophthalmologist or Optometrist with Leidos QTC Health Service, you will be responsible for performing a range of duties including: Performing comprehensive vision screenings Interpreting clinical data Refraction and prescription Tonometry Vision screen with color – with and without correction Periodic Health Assessments (PHA), Pre and Post-Deployment Assessments Required Qualifications: MD or OD from an accredited university or college Minimum 2 years of post‑graduate experience as an Ophthalmologist or Optometrist. Unrestricted State medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice. Completed education and training in a US accredited college or university. Ability to pass a medical clearance. Ability to pass an NACI clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Experience conducting occupational medical examinations. Work Schedule and Compensation: Flexible Schedule: Appointments are typically scheduled approximately 5 to 7 days of notification. You set the pace and frequency Location: Carson City, Nevada Compensation: Compensation will be provided for each examination, with payment determined based on the specific requirements and type of examination performed.
