As a contracted Ophthalmologist or Optometrist with Leidos QTC Health Service, you will be responsible for performing a range of duties including: Performing comprehensive vision screenings Interpreting clinical data Refraction and prescription Tonometry Vision screen with color – with and without correction Periodic Health Assessments (PHA), Pre and Post-Deployment Assessments Required Qualifications: MD or OD from an accredited university or college Minimum years of post-graduate experience as an Ophthalmologist or Optometrist. Unrestricted State medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice Completed Education and training in an US accredited college or university Ability to pass a medical clearance Ability to pass a NACI clearance Preferred Qualifications: Experience conducting occupational medical examinations Work Schedule and Compensation: Flexible Schedule: Appointments are typically scheduled approximately to days of notification. You set the pace and frequency Location: Garden City (within miles) Compensation: Compensation will be provided for each examination, with payment determined based on the specific requirements and type of examination performed.
