Job Type Full-timeDescriptionWe are seeking a skilled HVAC Controls and Building Automation Service Technician to join our team. This role will focus primarily on building automation systems and HVAC controls. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation of knowledge in all aspects of the mechanical service trade. The role also requires that the technician responds to requests for mechanical service repairs and mechanical maintenance work as determined by the company's needs. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems and experience with various control systems. Basic computer skills related to building automation are imperative to the role.Key Responsibilities:
•Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HVAC systems, including mechanical components and control systems
•Respond to service calls for mechanical repairs and issues related to building automation systems
•Install, configure, and maintain HVAC control systems and building automation technologies
•Troubleshoot and resolve issues with building automation systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
•Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on control systems to enhance system efficiency
•Utilize basic computer skills to monitor HVAC controls, analyze data, and generate reports
•Collaborate with team members to implement system upgrades and improvements
•Collaborate with team members to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively
•Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and system maintenance activitiesRequirementsQualifications:
•General knowledge of HVAC principles, with a strong focus on controls and automation systems
•Familiarity with various control systems, including digital and pneumatic controls
•Basic computer skills, particularly in relation to HVAC controls and building automation systems
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
•Any certifications or training certificates would be considerations during the hiring process
