Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Quality Director, the Clinical Quality Coordinator is responsible for coordination, development, implementation and evaluation of all system wide processes related to clinical quality measures. The Clinical Quality Coordinator is responsible for process implementation, education and maintenance of assigned Quality metrics. The Clinical Quality Coordinator functions as a liaison for staff, management and physicians for assigned Quality measures. Demonstrates a working knowledge of nursing processes. 

  • Designs, implements, and maintains all educational processes related to the assigned Quality measures for leadership, staff and physicians.
  • Assist department Directors and managers in maintaining staff compliance as directed.
  • Conducts focused department surveys per Quality Director request and prepares reports of the results as directed.
  • Monitors compliance to assigned Quality metrics, analyzes trends, and works with Quality Director, Quality Medical Director, CMO and multi-disciplinary teams in PI process. Involves staff in the development of individual and departmental goals related to all Quality measures.
  • Provides management, physicians and staff continual feedback and educational support related to current compliance scores to improve performance.
  • Responsible for maintaining clinical statistics/data and reporting results with measures for improvement. Directly responsible for continuous quality improvement with emphasis on evidence-based practices.
  • Functions as a resource to physicians and all departments by participation in assigned standing meetings related to all Quality measures. Participates in appropriate studies, collection, abstraction and analysis of data related to all Quality measures.
  • Enhances self-professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, research of current literature, in-service meetings, workshops and conferences.
  • Collaborates with the Quality Director in assuring compliance with State and Federal Regulations; Joint Commission Standards, and Corporate standards related to all Clinical Quality Measures.
  • Fosters a cooperative and motivational work environment.
  • Actively supports and complies with ARH policies.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Registered Nurse
  • Associate's degree
  • Minimum three years RN and/or Quality Improvement experience.
