Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Operations Manager located in the Washington DC-Baltimore area. The Operations Manager will oversee daily broadcast operations, ensuring seamless execution of live programming and news broadcasts. Responsibilities include coordinating technical teams, managing on-site resources, troubleshooting operational issues, and collaborating with editorial and production teams to support high-quality content delivery. The role requires leadership in logistics, compliance, and operational efficiency while adhering to industry standards and company policies. Qualifications Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to oversee technical and operational staff Proficiency in broadcast operations, technical coordination, and on-site resource management Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address operational or technical challenges efficiently Experience in collaboration with editorial, production, and technical teams to ensure effective communication and workflow Knowledge of industry standards, compliance protocols, and operational best practices for media environments Strong organizational and time-management skills, along with attention to detail Bachelor's degree in Communications, Broadcasting, or a related field preferred A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in broadcast operations or a related field Experience working in a fast?paced, live news or media environment is strongly preferred Seniority level: Mid?Senior level Employment type: Full?time Job function: Management and Manufacturing Industries: Broadcast Media Production and Distribution #J-18808-Ljbffr
