Licensed Lead Clinician

Pay Ranges: up to $42 per hour, (Annualized up to $87,360)

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 8am - 5pm or Sundays + 4 other days a week.

The Recovery Village Palmer Lake Drug and Alcohol Rehab, 443 CO-105, Palmer Lake, CO 80133

Pay Maximum: USD $42.00/Hr. Responsibilities:

Levels of care at this facility include: Medical Detox, Inpatient/Residential Rehab, Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Program, Outpatient Rehab, Medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and Aftercare Planning

The Lead Clinician is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care activities as directed by the Clinical Director and assist in the management functions at the facility. The Clinician in this role must have experience providing family therapy and treating those with chemical dependency. The Clinician is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care activities as directed by the Clinical Director including Bio-Psychosocial assessments and treatment planning.

Works effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure success of the facility by completing the following:

CORE JOB DUTIES:

1. Assists Clinical Director in developing effective clinical programming and ensures staff compliance to the curriculum.
2. Assists Clinical Director with proficiently auditing documentation to ensure compliance to company policy, state regulations, Joint Commission standards and Medical Needs Criteria. This Includes:

a. Biopsychosocial Assessment
b. Integrated Summary
c. Comprehensive Problem List
d. Integrated Master Treatment Plan and Updates
e. Individual, family and group therapy session notes
f. Discharge Summary

3. Assists Clinical Director with regularly monitoring group therapy sessions to ensure quality programming is delivered and to ensure compliance to the program curriculum.
4. Assesses patient for substance use disorders, risk to self or others and co-occurring mental health disorders.
5. Effectively provides group therapy.
6. Effectively provides caseload management.

OTHER REQUIRED TASKS:

1. Assists Clinical Director to ensure departmental goals are met
2. Assists Clinical Director with meeting with all employees at least bi-monthly to provide feedback on documentation and therapeutic performance and to provide guidance and coaching as needed.
3. Assists Clinical Director to effectively monitor staff’s performance, providing coaching and discipline as needed to ensure peak performance.
4. Consistently identifies areas for improvement within the department by analyzing data and developing, implementing, and documenting plans for improvement and outcomes.
5. Effectively leads Daily Flash Meetings in the absence of the Clinical Director.
6. Effectively leads Clinical Staff Meetings in the absence of the Clinical Director.
7. Assists the Clinical Director to recruit and hire clinical team members.
8. Maintains positive relationships with all staff.
9. Creates a positive environment for staff.
10. Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients.
11. Performs other tasks, as assigned.

Qualifications:

Here is what we’ll need to consider you:

Master's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field
At least two (2) years of clinical experience in mental health field (additional training may substitute for one year)
Licensed in the State of Colorado to practice as an: Approved LPC Supervisor (Licensed Professional Counselor) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
LAC (Licensed Addiction Counselor) may also be required.
Preferred: 3 or more years of Addiction Services/Treatment experience, 1 or more years of Clinical Lead or Supervision, and prior experience working in a residential treatment setting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrates proficiency in communication and written skills
Knowledge of State and Federal statutes regarding patient confidentiality laws
Knowledge of licensing and accreditation standards
