Commissioning Project Engineer

Job DescriptionGenesys Engineering, P.C., a subsidiary of Willdan, is seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Commissioning Project Engineer. Our core services are building commissioning, retro-commissioning, engineering, and environmental sustainability. Our team of dedicated professionals provides a multitude of consulting services to clients in higher education, state agencies, and private institutions to promote reliable equipment operations, environmental sustainability, and reduced energy consumption.The position will be associated with our Kingston, NY office but the responsibilities will be primarily associated with the NYC, Westchester, and Hudson Valley region. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills, ability to handle multiple projects at the same time, work independently, and can travel within the tri-state area. Friendly, helpful, and positive attitude.Strong written and oral communication skills.Self-motivated, adaptable, and ability to multi-task.Knowledge of and interest to learn HVAC equipment and mechanical systems.Knowledge of software tools, such as spreadsheets, project management programs, and word processing.Support business process improvement efforts.Support Project Managers and Team Leads on ad-hoc requests for support.Willing and able to travel throughout New York State and the adjoining tri-state area.Ability to meet deadlines and provide deliverables in a timely manner.EEO Non-Discrimination and ADA Reasonable Accommodation StatementWilldan is an equal opportunity employer.
