Benefits: Competitive salary Dental insurance Employee discounts Free food & snacks Health insurance Paid time off Profit sharing Training & development Tuition assistance Vision insurance Qualifications•Must meet state requirements for childcare industry and additional school requirements may apply•Ability to work independently and remain motivated•Performs tasks with speed and attention to detail•Able to walk 3-5 miles a day and lift up to 35 pounds•Effective communication skills•Strong organization skills•Ability to work on a team with the understanding that the purpose of the position is to SUPPORT others•Willing to take initiative•Strong understanding of the need for a clean environment•Must be able to read and follow detailed written and verbal instructions•Must be able to use mechanical equipment, such as carpet cleaner, vacuum, tools etc•Must be able to use various chemicals and cleaning agents•Prior experience working as a Housekeeper in a school or child care center is preferred but not required•Must have a high school diploma or higher Responsibilities•This position is designed to support both the teachers and the administrative staff throughout the day to ensure the center operates smoothly and that all classroom needs are being met•Collecting, washing, and returning laundry to classrooms•Collecting and disposing of trash into the dumpster•Collecting items from the classrooms to wash in the kitchen•Sweeping and mopping the hallways, communal areas, and classrooms at specific times•Spot clean surfaces as needed•Cleaning and sanitizing doorknobs, chair rails and doors (high touch areas)•Washing interior and lobby/entrance windows•Cleaning student and staff bathrooms•Assisting teachers with closing classrooms as needed at the end of the school day•Re-stocking supplies to the classes such as paper towels, trash bags, plastic ware•Assist in the event there is a large spill or accident•Assure fans, vent covers, and windowsills are dust free••Delivering items to classrooms and providing restroom breaks to teachers•Assisting in all areas of the school as neededCompensation: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
