Position Overview Simbe is in the early stages of identifying an Engineering Leader with deep experience in robotic or IoT systems, someone who knows how to take complex, cross‑disciplinary products from 1 to 100. This leader will directly oversee and align Simbe’s software and data‑focused teams, including Robotics Software, Web and Cloud Engineering, and Data Science, ensuring technical cohesion, product delivery, and operational excellence as we scale. The role will work in close partnership with Hardware R&D, Production Engineering, and Digital Product Management, and collaborate with Computer Vision and AI leadership to deliver high‑quality, reliable, and customer‑ready systems. We’re looking for someone who: Has led multi‑disciplinary engineering organizations building real‑world deployed robotic or IoT systems. Brings experience implementing scalable processes, quality standards, and engineering rigor without losing startup agility. Understands what it takes to deliver enterprise‑grade products for Tier 1 B2B customers. Leads with respect and credibility – capable of guiding teams who have taken the product from inception, while evolving the organization for growth. Shares a deep belief in Simbe’s mission and the impact of robotics in the retail industry. $250,000 - $350,000 a year The base salary offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including equity compensation, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
