We are seeking a motivated Assistant Construction Superintendent to join our residential construction team. In this role, you will work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your contribution will be critical in coordinating resources, managing subcontractors, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a construction management degree or someone who wants to work part time while completing their degree to gain real experience in the construction industry.
This could also be a unique chance for a superintendent, with experience working for a production builder, to prove themselves and advance to the level of Superintendent or Project Manager in the luxury home building market.

Responsibilities
Assist the Superintendent and Project Manager in planning, organizing, and overseeing daily construction activities on residential projects.
Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveries to meet project timelines.
Monitor and enforce compliance with building codes, neighborhood construction regulations, as well as safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets quality standards and specifications.
Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and costs incurred.
Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders.
Resolve onsite issues promptly and efficiently to keep projects on track.
Support the Project Manager in managing project budgets, including cost tracking and reporting.
Assist in interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure adherence to design plans.
Implement and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience in residential construction

OR

minimum of 2 years towards a Construction Management degree.
Knowledge of construction processes, practices, and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software is a plus.
OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain.
