Chandler Signs has a need for Shipping and Crate Builder, must be comfortable with heavy lifting, using hand tolls and power tools, and working in a fast paced warehouse environment.
Essential job functions are:
- Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on work orders.
- Prepare and move products for shipment using a forklift
- Perform duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, banding, labeling operations, and sorting
- Prepares finished product for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow safety policies
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Experience with pneumatic and power tools is required
- Must have experience reading a measuring tape
- Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
- Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties.
- May be required to stand for 80 % of the working schedule.
- Must be able to lift-up to 50 pounds
- May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers.
- 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- $16.50, DOE, (Plus 2nd Shift differential Pay $0.75)
