Our Maintenance Engineering group is seeking a Engineer - Systems to develop new or modify existing maintenance requirements for submarine systems and components for all classes, and manage the development of the associated maintenance products. This includes conducting Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Level of Repairability Analyses to identify the most applicable and effective maintenance, who should conduct it and how often it needs to be accomplished. This position requires constant interface with other engineering disciplines, shipyard personnel, Navy personnel, technical writing personnel, and program management.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or relevant technical degree.
  • 2 or more years engineering experience.
  • Strong background in analysis or statistics.
  • Proficient in understanding maintenance concepts.

Preferred:
  • Experience with Navy maintenance or marine equipment.

Skills

  • Candidate must have the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
  • The candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Candidate must be highly motivated, perform independently, as well as interact with other groups and organizations.
