Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
Tech workers' job of the Lion's Pause is to operate technology in the Pause such as the lightboard, soundboard, and monitors, create a welcoming environment, and coordinate with event organizers to put on Pause events.
Transferable Skills:
- Ability to function well in an atmosphere that promotes teamwork as well as initiative and independence
- Ability to function in high stress environments
- Organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency of technical equipment
- Attend scheduling meetings weekly
- Attend scheduled shifts
- Be responsible for the set up and take down of tech equipment used at events
- Protect and responsibly use tech equipment
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
Interest in developing tech skills for Pause events.
