OverviewDelivery Consultant - Cloud Infrastructure Architect, WWPS ProServe at Amazon Web Services (AWS). The role involves working with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet technical requirements and business objectives. You will be a key contributor in driving customer success through the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. You will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer’s needs and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess existing infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As trusted advisors, you will provide guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions while leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks. ResponsibilitiesDesigning and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needsProviding technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project deliveryCollaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategiesActing as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologiesSharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifactsQualificationsBachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience3+ years of architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)3+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications3+ years of agile software development methodology experienceCurrent, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with PolygraphPreferred QualificationsAWS experience with proficiency in a broad set of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation)AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferredExperience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python)Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, networking, and technology/software sales consultingExperience architecting, deploying, and operating AWS-based solutions, including migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud and understanding federal government security requirementsLocation & Work ModelIt is expected to work from one of the above locations (or customer sites) at least 1+ days per week. This is not a remote position. The Colorado base pay for this position ranges from $131,300/year up to $177,600/year. The National base pay ranges from $118,200/year in the lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in the highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total package, in addition to a full range of benefits.
