Job Title: Elite eBillingHub Integration Specialist/Technical Developer

Location: Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA


Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Elite eBillingHub Integration Specialist/Technical Developer to oversee the configuration, integration, and support of the Elite eBillingHub platform within our legal and billing ecosystem. This role involves close collaboration with legal, IT, and finance teams to optimize the billing workflow, ensure compliance with client billing guidelines, and maintain seamless integration with external systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Development & Integration:

  • Configure and implement Elite eBillingHub, ensuring smooth integration with existing practice management systems (e.g., Thomson Reuters Elite 3E, ProLaw, or Aderant).
  • Develop and maintain custom scripts, APIs, or connectors to automate data exchange between Elite eBillingHub and external platforms such as client e-billing systems (e.g., Serengeti, CounselLink).
  • Ensure compliance with LEDES standards and other legal billing formats.

System Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide technical support for Elite eBillingHub, including debugging issues, troubleshooting integration errors, and optimizing performance.
  • Monitor system functionality to ensure data integrity and prevent billing delays.
  • Maintain system documentation, including technical configurations and integration maps.

Collaboration & Process Improvement:

  • Collaborate with legal operations, finance, and IT teams to streamline billing processes and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Analyze workflows and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency through automation or process refinement.
  • Train end-users on Elite eBillingHub functionalities and provide ongoing technical support.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure the system adheres to legal billing compliance standards and client-specific requirements.
  • Generate reports and analytics related to billing activity, system performance, and compliance metrics.
  • Develop strategies for continuous improvement in legal billing processes.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience with Elite eBillingHub or similar legal e-billing platforms.
  • Proven expertise in integrating e-billing systems with legal practice management or ERP software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate across IT, finance, and legal teams.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., SQL, C#) and APIs for custom integrations.
  • Experience with SaaS platforms, cloud-based solutions, and legal technology.
  • Strong understanding of legal billing workflows and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of LEDES billing standards.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and project management platforms.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Elite eBillingHub setup, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or SQL.
  • Experience with APIs, REST/SOAP services, and XML/LEDES billing formats.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of legal and financial processes, including billing compliance.
