Our portfolio of technology helps power our world ---come join our team and see how YOU can make a difference.**Job Description:****Job Summary*** This is a senior level position in application/system engineering.* Responsibilities include designing high density 400V+ DCDC isolated converters, developing and debugging analog circuits, writing datasheets and application/design notes, and providing application support and technical training.**Essential Functions*** Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to define high density module products in cloud computing power solutions for CPU, GPU, ASIC, and SOC.* Develop application reference circuits and system level power management solutions for Data Center/AI applications.* Hands-on lab bench evaluations, system and board level debugging, and prototype demonstrations.* Work with cross-functional teams to support existing products and drive new product development.* Write datasheets, application notes, design notes and papers in magazines and conferences to promote MPS products.**Qualifications/ Requirements*** MSEE or higher required* 5+ years of hand-on experience in switch mode power supply designs. Familiar with lab tools like oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies, e-loads, frequency analyzer, etc.* Lab automation experience with Python is a plus* Experience with simulation tool like Simplis, Maxwell, Icepak, etc. is preferred.* Experience in PCB design/layout is a plus.* Fluent communication skills in English* Excellent writing and presentation skills* Self-motivated**Location*** Kirkland, WA* San Jose, CAMPS offers a comprehensive benefits package. The base salary range for this position in Washington is $130,000 - $170,000. The base salary range for this position in California is $140,000 - $180,000.Monolithic Power Systems, Inc.
