Sweep, mop, wax and vacuum all floors and stairways. Move and replace the furniture as necessarySweep and mop kitchen and any food prep areas daily and as directedWash dining room tables after meal serviceWash, wet sponge and dust wallsScrub handrails, baseboards, room corners and stair landingsEmpty wastebaskets and garbage cansBreak down boxes and take out garbage as scheduledRemove and clean blinds or shades if applicableClean and polish furniture and metal workClean mirrors and glass in bookcases and doorsDust and replace light bulbs, fuses, emergency lights and light fixturesReplace toilet paper, towel and other suppliesResponsible to clean sidewalk, entry way and back exit of rubbish and of any snow each dayWash down sidewalks and lower side of buildingsMay be required to monitor front door and sign in desk as neededAssist with receiving and storage of deliveriesEnsure that exterior doors are locked and secured and center is prepared for closing if applicablePerform other duties as required by the supervisor of the siteCOMPETENCIESExperience preferred, but not necessary.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently work with toxic or caustic chemicals such as degreasers, cleaning products and sprays.
