Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a caseload from inception through resolution, strong litigation skills, and a passion for client advocacy. Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in workers’ compensation defense cases before the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Commission. Manage a caseload with autonomy, including conducting depositions, hearings, and mediations. Draft legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and settlement agreements. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and experts. Provide strategic legal counsel and updates to clients regarding case progress and outcomes. Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in South Carolina. 0-3 years of experience in workers’ compensation law preferred. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills. Why Join Us?
