As the Assembly Process Coordinator, you will ensure the seamless coordination and execution of assembly processes in alignment with the Division's goals and objectives. The Assembly Process Coordinator will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and maintaining processes that uphold the Division's standards for consistency, efficiency, and harmony.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with Ditch Witch, you will be responsible for:
- Assist in implementing standardized processes to enhance efficiency and consistency in assembly operations.
- Monitor processes and procedures, report any issues or areas for improvement to Assembly Manager, and assist in implementing solutions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support cohesive and streamlined operations.
- Provide training and support to Division members to ensure adherence to established processes and standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with Division policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in preparing reports on process performance, highlighting achievements and identifying areas for further enhancement.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to share ideas and solutions to improve processes.
- Enter and maintain data related to assembly production, scheduling, division metrics, etc.
- Ensure all safety protocols and guidelines are strictly followed throughout the assembly operations.
- Deal with process related conflicts and issues in a direct and effective manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
- High School diploma/GED required. 2-year post high school program from a technical school or Associate’s degree in relevant field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in process coordination or similar role within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Demonstrated experience in line balancing and time studies.
- Advanced PC skills, particularly with Excel and MS Word.
- Ability to analyze data and assist in generating simple reports.
- Strong understanding of assembly processes, best practices, and industry standards.
- Experience in developing and implementing standardized processes to maintain consistency across operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional team members to ensure adherence to established processes and standards.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Assist in organizing resources, information, and data into usable formats as directed by the Assembly Manager.
- Detail orientated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Ensure all safety protocols and guidelines are strictly followed throughout assembly operations.
- Capability to manage process-related conflicts and issues effectively.
- Support in conducting regular audits and assessments under supervisors to ensure compliances with division policies and procedures.
