Welder Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Lippert, a leading manufacturer of highly engineered products and customized solutions. As a Welder, you will play a critical role in assembling various components and sub-assemblies into specified fixturing and joining by welding or repairing defective welds.

• Assemble and weld components and sub-assemblies into specified fixturing
• Join by welding or repairing defective welds
• Exercise product and process knowledge to identify out-of-conformance situations and alert supervisor or Quality Auditor
• Rotate position into different production teams as necessary to meet production schedules and company goals
• Maintain good housekeeping practices and set up welding equipment

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Essential functions include observing all safety rules and policies, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and picking and placing components or sub-assemblies into proper fixturing
• Ability to set up welding equipment and mig welding experience is required

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on safety and quality. The team member will work around moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, and conveyor roller lines. The noise level is moderate to loud, and the team member may be exposed to dust, fumes, gases, noise, heat, cold, and wet work.
