Sr. Project Cost Analyst

Our client, in Columbus, OH is seeking a Sr. Project Cost Analyst to join their team.
Job Title: Sr. Project Cost Analyst
Location: Columbus, OH
Pay Range: $40-46.42/hr
What’s the Job?
- Aid estimating staff members in evaluation and understanding of actual costs measured against estimated costs (within the Project Lifecycle Management Process).
- Collaborate with Project Management (PM), and other vested parties to facilitate, lead, and perform project revision processes. Including, but not limited to the development of estimate vs EAC cost driver summaries, as well as the creation of revised estimates.
- Assist with increasing efficiencies within project cost evaluations.
- Assist with data management and improvements to information within the estimating department.
- Develop and demonstrate an economic and business acumen with an understanding of the engineering & design, procurement, contracting, estimating, project management, construction and startup procedures and processes.
- Develop and demonstrate strategic thinking, planning, risk assessment and prioritization of project activities skills.
- Qualified Bachelor’s degree, plus five (5) years of qualified experience; qualified Associate's degree, plus seven (7) years of qualified experience in the areas forementioned.
- Includes utility specific operations knowledge/experience with a good working knowledge of work processes and procedures.
- Areas of experience should include combination of planning, project management, project controls (scheduling, cost tracking/analysis, forecasting, project budgets, working with accounting principles), and/or construction management.
