Job Details:

  • Coverage: Ongoing

  • Specialty: MD/DO - Neurosurgery

  • Shift: 24 hour call (8 gratis hours) - 7a-7a

  • Setting: Call, Inpatient Trauma Level I

  • Position Open: 1

  • Required Procedures/Job Duties: Level I Trauma facility with primary call requirements- 24/7/365. Proficiency in general Neurosurgery, trauma, spine

  • EMR: Epic

  • Support Staff: none

  • Travel Preferences: Air Travel: Okay; Please detail any anticipated travel exceptions, for example a dietary restriction necessitating specific lodging situations.

  • Credentialing Information: Timeframe: 30 - 120 days

  • Credentialing with other facilities? No

  • Billing enrollment - Is this position providing services in lieu of an existing enrolled provider for a period of 60 days or less? NO

  • Emergency temp privs? Yes, 1-2 weeks


Requirements:

  • Active Unrestricted CO license or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission) - required

  • Board Certified Neurological Surgery - required

  • Active ACLS, BLS - required

  • Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked)

  • Clean Malpractice/Background - Highly Preferred

  • Willing to accept a maximum of 3 cases

  • Must include malpractice explanation or self inquiry NPDB report.
