Patient Accounts Coordinator Position Summary
Responsible for the billing, follow-up and collection of Medical Center receivable in order to maintain positive cash flow and reduce accounts receivables and A/R days, in compliance with all applicable regulations. Responsible for coordinating billing, collection, and account resolution functions.
Patient Accounts Coordinator Position Requirements
Education
-
High School graduate or equivalent required. Advanced courses in computer, office or public relations preferred.
Experience
-
At least two years as a registrar, collector, or patient account representative or equivalent, plus one to two years business office experience.

Speed and accuracy with keyboard and calculator, and computer experience.

Customer service experience preferred.

Requires six months on-the-job training.
Patient Accounts Coordinator Work Schedule
- Day shift, Monday through Friday, with overtime and possible weekends as required.
- Rotating day, evening, night shift, week and weekend, with overtime as required.
- Expected to work overtime and other shifts as required by staffing needs.
Patient Accounts Coordinator Benefits
- At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.

Salary range: $18.58 - $27.87 Commensurate with experience
