Our client, a leader in the HVAC/R industry, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician to join their team. As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Commercial HVAC Technician

Location: Topeka, KS

What's the Job?

  • Operate, inspect, and maintain all refrigeration and HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation and longevity.
  • Perform ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
  • Conduct facility inspections and report on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations.
  • Complete hazard assessments and comply with all safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Utilize CMMS systems for work order management and submit daily administrative reports.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in HVAC/R.
  • Type II EPA Certification and any required licenses.
  • Basic experience in plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in various physical conditions.
