Virtual Care Manager Position Summary
The Virtual Care Manager is a Registered Nurse that is responsible for managing and leading a team of Telehealth nurses. This position oversees the virtual patient care service. Additionally, the Virtual Care Manager is responsible for clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery, including patient satisfaction, for a broad range of patients as it relates to their age (development stage). The Manager is also responsible for management of human, fiscal, and other resources, development of personnel, and compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
Virtual Care Manager Position Requirements
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is required
Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) is preferred
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse is required
National Certification required (specialty certification within one year or managerial certification in accordance with AONE/AACN)
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience is required.
Previous leadership experience preferred.
Virtual Care Manager Schedule
Primarily day shift, Monday through Friday. Evenings and weekends may be required as needed.
Travel between TidalHealth facilities will be required.
Virtual Care Manager Benefits
At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
