PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The incumbent is a key member of the accounting team, co-responsible for ensuring the security of the company's assets and the accuracy of the reported financial statements. Focus areas of the position include planning and reporting, AP &AR, accounting controls, and financial statement preparation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Finance:
Assists with financial planning, budgeting, and rolling forecastAssists with the review of financial results, including identifying improvement opportunitiesManages Nittan quarterly report submissionPrepares Nittan monthly reportPoint person for EY quarterly auditAccounts Receivable:
Administers customer price lists in coordination with the commercial teamIssues manual invoices / credits as requiredMatches customer payments to outstanding invoices in ERPPerforms aging analysis and follows up with customers and sales to resolve all past due itemsDistributes customer statements as requiredAccounts Payable:
Creates weekly wires as requiredManages use tax filingsSubmits weekly disbursements to Key BankOversees weekly cash flow statementAnalyzes aged AP and research and resolve aged items.Assists Controller with month-end close and financial report preparation including:
Journal entry creation and postingExpense and balance sheet variance analysisPrepares assigned monthly balance sheet reconciliations by the 20th of each monthManages the annual Nittan SOX process / auditSupport the operations by providing standard and ad hoc historic data and performance analysis.Satisfy all financial reporting requirements whether internal or external (Eaton, Nittan, NGT or E&Y).Track capital expenditures by project and maintain fixed asset records in ERP.Assigns appropriate general ledger account codes to purchase requisitions.Serves as back-up for weekly payroll processing.Performs other financial related tasks as assigned by the Controller.Follow the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.Assist in Plant Continuous Improvements Projects such as TPM, Quality Management System Certification, Supplier Resource Management, etc.Other duties may be assigned.#2l
