WORK HOURS: Full time 260 days/ 8 hours per day

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the overall administration of payroll operations servicing approximately 1,400 employees, including the oversight of a Payroll Coordinator. Responsibilities include,
but are not limited to: establishing and maintaining payroll and tax records to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax guidelines and regulations including federal and state statutes. IRS compliance standards, TRS and
IMRF reporting and District policies and generally accepted accounting procedures. The District currently uses ADP payroll and HR management services.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree in Accounting or related field plus 5 years related experience OR high school diploma/GED plus 8 years related experience. At least 3 years must be in payroll
management. Payroll or compensation certification preferred, but not required. Recent previous experience with ADP Enterprise HR/Payroll software preferred. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines; strong attention to detail and
accuracy; significant experience with Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs; excellence in interpersonal communications, customer service and analytical skills.
