As a Front Desk Agent at Maumee Bay Lodge, you will be the first point of contact for guests and provide exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for checking guests in and out, answering inquiries, and providing information about the hotel and its amenities.

This position will work 4 - 5 days per week depending on business needs from 3pm - 11pm, including weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
  • Manage online and phone reservations
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
  • Register guests, ensuring collection of necessary information such as contact details and exact dates of stay
  • Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms
  • Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
  • Address client complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs
  • Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Must be available 3pm - 11pm
  • Must be available weekends & holidays
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role with cash & credit card handling is preferred
