* Pay: $32.83 - $49.25 / hour

Summary

* This position is to provide the technical knowledge and expertise to safely and accurately perform ultrasound scans, vascular lab procedures, and other related procedures as requested. Schedules specific times for exams, considering priority.
* This position works under the supervision of the Associate Director and is employed by Mosaic Health System.

Duties

* Interpret a provider's instructions. Communicates with nursing staff and providers regarding clinical procedures.
* Screen patients. Reviews the patient's medical record to verify the appropriateness of a specific exam or procedure.
* Explain procedures to patients. Refers questions about diagnosis, treatment or prognosis to a licensed independent practitioner.
* Prepare patients for procedures.
* Performs procedures by visualization of anatomy and recording images. Performs procedures in accordance with policy and procedure manual.
* View images from an imaging session and keep records of the results.
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable. Completion of an Ultrasound Program/ OR equivalent meeting ARDMS standards for registry requirements.
* Clinical\BCLS - Basic Life Support is required. RDMS - Registered Diagnostic Med - Abdomen, OB/GYN, RVT or CCI are required as follows:

Completion of two registries (RVT & RDMS Abdomen) within twelve (12) months of employment is required.
* 1 year related experience perferred.
