Description:
As a part of the petroleum team, you will be primarily responsible for the following inside of the lab:
* Processing oil and gas samples
* Executing wet chemistry techniques
* Vapor pressure testing
* Distillations
* Octane tests
* Gas Chromatography
* Working collaboratively with other team members
* Maintaining cleanliness of the lab
* Practicing GMPs and GLPs
* Keeping pace in a fast pace production facility
There will also be the opportunity and ability to gain exposure with analytical instrumentation.
Qualifications:
For this position, candidates must have the following for consideration:
* Bachelors of science degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry
* Industry experience working with sample processing inside of a laboratory setting
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Ability to learn and adapt to feedback
* Flexibility in schedule
