This position is in support of the Auxiliary Services Project Management Office. The role will be responsible for assisting the project management team with conducting project related work for Dining, Parking, Transit, the UGA Golf Course, UGA Bookstore and the Auxiliary Services support units. This work will include industry informed project management processes utilizing various different tools to analyze, and develop solutions to improve business process within Auxiliary Services.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position

The ideal candidate for this internship must be a current student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

* Positive attitude with an emphasis on interpersonal relationships
* Open to feedback and self-development
* Strong work ethic, specifically a desire and eagerness to learn about project management
* Availability during business working hours (8am-5pm) /not to exceed 20 hours per week
* Availability to work summer months
* Base level knowledge of project management
* Strong customer service skills
* Exhibits exceptional verbal, written and interactive communication skills.
* Demonstrates effective time management, organizational, and planning skills.
* Initiative for problem-solving and taking action to drive results.
* Ability to convey a positive and professional presence with all team members, staff and students.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and exposure/experience with Smartsheet.
* Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality and sensitivity to business unit processes and information.
* Experience and/or understanding of data analytics, as it relates to project management.
